End of Summer Water Day

Games on the grass, a potluck under the pavilion where everyone brought something, and welcome boxes for our newcomers. One last summer day together.
On Saturday, September 12, we spent the afternoon at Ray Kestner Waterfront Park in Houghton. The kayaks came along on the trailer, but in the end we were not able to do the planned kayaking.
The day at a glance

The day was still full of good moments: people gathered at the water’s edge, a pickup soccer game started on the lawn, and new and returning members got to know each other.
In the early evening the potluck began under the Rotary Pavilion, where families and friends gathered around a table of shared food. We were happy to welcome new MSA members and share welcome boxes with our newcomers. Thank you to everyone who joined us, played, cooked and shared the day.
